Dr. Renato Blanco joins Parkridge Medical Center as Interim Critical Care Medical Director
Dr. Blanco has been recognized as Resident of the Year by St. Francis Medical Center among many other accomplishments.
Parkridge Health System is pleased to announce that Dr. Renato Blanco has accepted the position of Interim Critical Care Medical Director at Parkridge Medical Center.
Dr. Blanco completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ where he was recognized as Resident of the Year. He completed his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. For the past six years, Dr. Blanco has served with the Intensive Care Consortium as critical care attending, helping to lead various programs throughout the United States. In previous positions, he steered the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, Ethics Committee, Critical Care Committee, and was featured in local media discussions on coronavirus and pulmonary embolism.
Dr. Blanco is a member of the American College of Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians and has co-authored numerous publications on critical care topics such as noninvasive positive pressure ventilation.
