Stroke care

Stroke is the fifth-leading cause of death and the leading cause of adult disability in the United States. However, timely access to specialized treatment can potentially save your life and prevent permanent disability. We earned a Disease-Specific Care Certification as an advanced primary stroke center from The Joint Commission. This means we rapidly assess and diagnose patients exhibiting signs of stroke. For those diagnosed with stroke, we administer clot-busting medications to those patients who meet the criteria.

Recognizing stroke symptoms

Recognizing the signs of stroke is a critical part of treatment. Call 911 if you or someone you know experiences stroke symptoms.
