Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ earned by Parkridge Medical Center for third consecutive year

Parkridge Medical Center has been recognized among the nation’s top hospitals for patient safety by Healthgrades along with other recent accolades from Healthgrades, including America’s 100 Best Hospitals for 2026 and excellence in multiple specialties.

Chattanooga, Tenn. — Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, has received the 2026 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™, marking the third consecutive year the hospital has been recognized for its commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

“Earning this recognition for the third year in a row reflects the extraordinary commitment of our physicians, nurses and colleagues to making patient safety a priority in everything we do,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Medical Center. “This award affirms our dedication to protecting our patients and continuously improving the quality of care we provide to our community.”

The Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ places Parkridge Medical Center among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety. The award is based exclusively on patient outcomes and honors hospitals that demonstrate superior performance in patient care.

Parkridge Medical Center was also named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for 2026 by Healthgrades, marking it the fifth consecutive year it was among America’s 250 Best Hospitals. Additionally, Parkridge Medical Center was recognized by Healthgrades for excellence in surgical, vascular, stroke, gastrointestinal and pulmonary care, further reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes across multiple specialties.
