Addiction treatment program
The intensive outpatient program is designed to help you achieve long-term recovery from addiction, while maintaining your regular lifestyle. Treatment consists of education, introducing and reinforcing processes, the inclusion of family and support systems, aftercare groups and an introduction to 12-step concepts.
Longer-term care for addiction is available at our inpatient mental health unit, located at Parkridge West Hospital in Jasper, Tennessee.
Program features
There are many unique aspects of our program. Some of these include:
Education — Provides clients with a thorough understanding of the disease and its chronic progression
Introduction and reinforcement of processes — Assists clients in identifying and resolving psychological and social factors that contribute to addiction
Family groups — Offer support by helping clients and family members increase their understanding of family dynamics and by allowing them to discuss the impact addiction has had on the family; it is very important that the clients have a willingness to stop their addiction; it is encouraged that family members be committed to participating in the recovery process
Aftercare groups — Focuses on long-term recovery skills and relapse prevention (these groups are available for clients who have successfully completed the program)
